What to expect
Raccoons climb roofs and pull open soffits, ridge caps, and attic vents to nest. Once inside, they tear insulation, contaminate it with droppings and urine, and chew on wiring. Female raccoons in spring will defend a litter aggressively, so professional removal is the only safe option. We trap or hand-remove the raccoons, clean and decontaminate the attic, and rebuild any damaged soffit, fascia, or vent screens. Repairs are sealed with materials raccoons cannot pull open.
